Dear Jimmy,
Thanks for all the terrific lyrics and terrific music. Your work has made a difference in my life. If pressed to make a suggestion, I would ask...please replace the cover tunes with old nuggets of your own.

Mr. Buffett,
Please play Nashville, if not just for Citcat's sake. Everytime I search for anything Nashville related she is pleading with you to come to Nashville. Please don't break her heart (or mine)!!!
Secondly, I just got engaged and was wondering if you played weddings. You can pm me for the date and what you should wear. Thanks in advance.
Sincerely,
Amanda

Dear Jimmy,
I know if you actually saw this thread you have probably asked yourself "why do I bother?"
So, please, disregard this thread. Some of us are thankful to you for being you and for doing what you want.
Thanks from a "thankful-for-any-and-all-you-do" phan.

stranger things have happened...you ALL should know that
as for requests, never hurts to ask. you just may be surprised what might turn up in a setlist.
thanks for the comments...and the sarcasm (just can't ever get enough of that)

Dear Jimmy,
I love you and your music and I would love to meet you some day.
I wish I could hang out in all the wonderful places you've been, but I don't have the $. I do have the holidays, though, months and months, so if you need a French-to-English translator or a good editor for your new book (the one that's stalled in the publishing process), or a tonally-challenged backup singer, please keep me in mind. I would work for gumbo, or beignets, or cheesburgers, or juicyfruit-grapefruit, or margaritas or a bottle of rum!
Oh yes, there's another post in which I proposed a "hootenany" or mini folk festival at my cottage: that offer still stands!
I really enjoyed RM's broadcast of the concert for your mother's 80th birthday. I sure wish I had been there. How about coming to play for my 60th? It will be just a couple of weeks before yours!

Hello Jimmy,
This request is for my four year old daughter. She would love to be one of your dancers for a song. Doesn't really matter which, but right now she can't stop moving when "Smart Woman In A Real Short Skirt" plays. Name the place and I'll get her there.
Thanks for providing a bright light in a dark world.

Now I'm sad. I moved from Florida for my Momma's sake. She is old and wanted to move "home". So, now in NW Tennessee, I lost seeing my Jimmy this year.

. Along with the other 2 gals, PLEASE come to Nashville. We miss you and love you. I promised my keet (who's 13) he could see his first show this year and now I have to let my little one (also named Jimmy) down too. Please reconsider this tour or at least add us back to next year. If Nashville is a problem, I will host the concert myself. I have a big yard and bunches of plastic chairs. I will even do this for a very small fee. Nothing like the big guys charge.
Love always ,
Jill
(ok, was that pitty poor sounding enough??? If asking doesn't work, always try begging and pleading.)

Dear Jimmy,
Thanks for all of the fun. Listening to your music brought me to the Caribbean...Herman Wouk...utter discontent with my humdrum life...and the belief that freedom comes from within.
See you from box 79 at Fenway on Sunday, babe.

Dear Jimmy,
Just wanted to say thanks for making me smile ALOT. It's hard to be in a bad mood when Jimmy's playing on the stereo. One request though, please come back to Irvine.

Hey Jimmy - me again. Scored some FENWAY tickets today and Growing Older But Not Up seems like a good fit - "I rounded first never thought of the worst" - you know the rest.
Don't forget to look us up in the parking lot in DALLAS ok? Just ask the Margaritavision guys where the boats are rafted up.
