I am not trying to ruffle any feathers here. I agree this is dead horse, the arguments have all been said from both sides and I agree it should RIP. My point is that we don't know yet whether there is a great woods show or not. And aside from the arguments which we are all tired of, don't attack the people coming here for info. Maybe it is not important to everyone, but there are enough people out there that it does matter to, So the reality check is that you are going to hear us asking questions until we know for sure. If you are sick of it, don't read those threads. And if you're going to read them, don't go there, knowing you are sick of hearing about it and attack the people who are just trying to exchange info and not get into a heated argument.
Consider the multiple threads point taken, at least by me. You won't see me starting any new ones on this topic.

And how in gawd's name did all these GW-bashers find their way to this thread--and STAY here for so long???????

if you will look back on page 2 the post beerman quoted was originally posted there. It was his way of saying you are in fact mistaken

If someone started a thread titled "WARNING: A PICTURE OF MY BIG HAIRY PIMPLY WHITE ASS" most of these knumbskulls will look knowing full well they WILL NOT like what they are going to see.

My dear I am not a Great Woods Basher. I will be at GW next year should he play there. I had a friend that passed away last year, some of you may know him John aka ph911, and he wanted me to go with him to GW last year. I plan on going to honor his memory. And I can tell you that he would be happy with having Jimmy play Fenway one year as opposed to GW. He would say at least he's playing near me.
