If someone started a thread titled "WARNING: A PICTURE OF MY BIG HAIRY PIMPLY WHITE ASS" most of these knumbskulls will look knowing full well they WILL NOT like what they are going to see. :o

should I consider that remark directed at me?
No...it wasn't directed at anyone...I was just trying to be a wiseass and throw a little comic relief into the mix to cool things down.
ok cause I was gonna say I'd look at the big hairy pimply white ass

I have said OVER AND OVER again why can you NorthEasterners be happy with Fenway??? How is that a complaint??

Hope for Great Woods, then those of us who like to go to multiple shows will have a better chance to get Jones Beach tickets.

I thought I was done but Ph4ever I think you and beerman misunderstood... not that it matters, but for the record and since my point was missed, I'll explain:
I was originally referring only to your comment:
"MAY I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION PLEASE - GIVE UP ON GREAT WOODS THIS YEAR"
When the only thing posted( besides nyc's "DUCK!") at that point when you made that comment was a question about whether to buy tickets to jones beach going on sale Monday or if there was any new news on GW in light of the news that it is actually still being considered. A polite, no attitude, no whining question, with no mention of who deserves more shows.
Beerman pulled that quote from page 2 -I think to say that the "deserving more shows" comment had in fact been said, which I am well aware of.. but where you are wrong, and what I was trying to tell beerman, is that ashaway said that AFTER he was attacked for a simple question. Hence my point.

When you made that comment, "MAY I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION PLEASE - GIVE UP ON GREAT WOODS THIS YEAR," ashaway, and anyone else with an interest in GW, was being attacked for a question and a question only.

I was using you as an example to say that I don't think it is ok to attack people who come here looking for info (which from reading other posts is what brought many people to BN in the first place) especially when the topic of whether GW will happen or not is still very much alive and Jones Beach, a likely alternative, goes on sale on Monday. Obviously, much more has been said since those first three posts, which have turned this thread into something other than for what I truly believe it was intended. I too am sick of the repetitive arguments and whining from both sides. But I would like to think that I can come here looking for info without being blasted.

All I ask is that although many are tired of hearing about GW, please try to understand that there are also many affected by the decision who are waiting to hear any info because it is still very much a possibility. And accept that the chances are more than good that we will be here on this board looking for that info because that is one of the things that makes BN great. This means trying to not be so quick to come down on us when you read even the slightest hint that a post is about GW, simply because of the bad taste in your mouth. Let those of us with vested interest in GW discuss news and plans without having to pay for past posts over and over again. In return.. I have already promised to not start any new threads on the same topic or complain about what I cannot change or what has been beaten to death. I encourage other BNers to do the same so that we can all move on.

Just trying to appease the "GW's, get out of my face" contingent...
Assume if there is any news on GW's, there will be a NEW (all caps) string that we can't miss.
We'll party just like Bubba does,
We'll do the Old Man proud!
