" How polite is it for someone to say their area is more deserving of multiple shows than anyone??"
PH4ever I was actually referring to your response"MAY I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION PLEASE - GIVE UP ON GREAT WOODS THIS YEAR" when the only thing posted previously on that thread was"with the announcement of the joens beach shows is there any word on the great woods shows, should i try for tickets for jones beach or should i hold out for great woods?"
I see no mention at this point in the thread of who is more deserving etc, etc... just a simple request for info. To me, this was a polite, no attitude question. One that I myself have as well.
"couldn't one of the numerous threads have been kept alive and achieved the same goal??"
I can't tell you why it was a new thread instead of being posted a previous thread, but really... would your response have been any different?
I am happy with what I got. But I also want to know what is happening with GW. It is important to me and effects my summer plans as I am sure it does many others. It has nothing to do with being greatful.

And not to take anythign away from hardcore buffett fans in other states but becuase of its small size and population density i believe that new england deserves more shows because of the large amount of people who do want to see jimmy. comments? criticisms? i dont mean for this to be a blanket statement i would like to know if anyone disagrees
I will revive this post so you can read it

Can I please put an end to this topic (for today) by saying/singing...
"Now, the world don't move to the beat of just one drum,
What might be right for you, may not be right for some.
A man is born, he's a man of means.
Then along come two, they got nothing but their jeans.
But they got, Diff'rent Strokes.
It takes, Diff'rent Strokes.
It takes, Diff'rent Strokes to move the world.
Everybody's got a special kind of story
Everybody finds a way to shine,
It don't matter that you got not alot
So what,
They'll have theirs, and you'll have yours, and I'll have mine.
And together we'll be fine....
Because it takes, Diff'rent Strokes to move the world.
Yes it does.
It takes, Diff'rent Strokes to move the world"

ashaway1 wrote:i can understand people getting sick of hearing about gw, but if your sick of it then dont read it, usually the titles are pretty good about indicating what the thread is about and half the people here who have posted things are complaining about all these gw posts, just ignore them whats the big deal
Then why start new ones on an almost daily basis? Just look for a title that mentions GW, I'm sure there must be 50 or 60 by now

, and post on one of those. You said a couple of weeks ago that you were an honors graduate, should be pretty easy to figure it out.

Ashaway, Beerman was replying to this. Do you all read all the posts or just the ones with GW in it?

I guess it may be because we have to explain ourselves over and over and it still doesn't get through. That and responses to questions when the responder only looks back 1 post without understanding what the actual post was about.
AND Jimmy won't be playing 3 shows in my area this year.
THAT is what I am uptight about.
