AMEX advantage at TM?

Do American Express cardholders have any advantage getting tickets from Ticketmaster?

yes, but it's by venue and show. not a blanket perk. jimmy has never been a "featured artist" with AMEX....

Sometimes they have presales....the password is pretty much always AMEX as far as I can tell. But the Gold Card presales you can only purchase tickets with an American Express card.

I guess I'm trying to decide if it's worth it to get an AMEX card and use it for TM only.

It's only worth it if you go to several concerts a year. This year it would've gotten you first crack at Clapton, Sting, Dave Matthews and a bunch of other GW shows. Not Buffett though.

I just got one and I'm hoping that for $90, it'll come through for me at least a few times.
