What songs do you think will conclude the show in Dallas? I think the finale set will be awesome and I wonder what they'll play together. If there are candidates from Alan & George I don't know I'd like to get familiar with them before the concert. Here are a few that came to mind.
5 O'Clock Somewhere
Stars on the Water
Hey Good Lookin'
Drive
Designated Drinker
Tropical Depression
I Can Still Make Cheyenne
The Cowboy Rides Away
Any others?

"If I Had A Boat" would be a good one to play - as would "Cowboy in the Jungle"

I'm putting "Boats to Build" at the top of my wish list - the News section has an article that Alan Jackson joins Jimmy for a duet on the new CD. I've wanted to hear JB do that tune for a long time!

I think Jimmy did Boats to Build w/ JJW at the Talkhouse a few years ago. That was great. I'd love to hear it with AJ too.

you got my head spinnin with this question!

Too many songs coming to mind . . . the possibilities are endless. I understand that George and Alan are fans of JB, so I was thinking that they may save some of the JB standards for the finale: Margaritaville, Volcano, maybe even Cheeseburger. I think 5 O'Clock is a shoe-in for obvious reasons, and Stars on the Water, because George has put out a version of that as well.
I just hope somewhere in all of that we get Hello Texas! One of my all-time favorites!

I think that it won't just be a showcase of Jimmy's music but a three way show that includes some of George's and Alan's songs also. At least that's what I hope for.

Your list from Jimmy & Alan are great but add these 2 from George
"Adelaida" (I probably killed that spelling but its a great Cajun song, I think to hear the CRB do it would be a blast)
"There's a Difference Between Living and Living Well" (a good life on your boat song and since all 3 have boats.......)
I hope The Wolf's prediction that all six on "Hey Good Looking" show up would be abosolutly awesome. I mean they have to film the video sometime. And me in the 28th row. It would be more than I can stand. LOL

Interesting you should mention that. I read an interview somwhere and George Strait said that was what got this whole thing going. I'm really looking forward to that final set. Alan was barefoot for the 5 O'Clock video and I wonder if George will be the only one wearing cowboy boots?

I think all three will come out and do the song- Hey Good Lookin'-I'm just wondering if 5 'O Clock Somewhere will be in Jimmy's set, or Alan Jackson's?

Heehee

Would be pretty funny to see them all in boots and surf shorts with cowboy hats!
