This site say buffett playing fenway sat. 9/11 too!! It says to be accounced! Anyone hear that yet??

I'm pretty sure the city only granted permits for 2 shows.

Good point! They would have to go to the city for another permit. When was the last time JB played 3 days in a row?! If there would be another Fenway show it would probably be the previous Wednesday, Sept 8.

AFAIK, Boston only talked about two permits.

Off topic, but on the topic of Fenway, on that site alone, there are several hundred tickets for sale. Thats alot. And they all are at scalpers prices. Gotta wonder how many tickets actually made it to fans.

I clicked on that link and they spelled Wantagh (for Jones Beach) wrong. They have it as Wantaugh. And maybe I'm wrong, but I thought the reason the Fenway shows were Friday and Sunday instead of Thursday and Saturday was so there wouldn't be a show on September 11.

Well from what I had heard. Even though that site has hundreds of tickets, they are getting those tickets from a common pool of tickets. So another scalpers' sites will have those same exact tickets.

I know all the signs point to this being untrue: 1) Buffett only has permits for 2 shows, 2) show would be on 9/11 3) Buffett wouldnt want to play 3 consecutive nights... BUT as I had posted a week ago, I had heard from a ticketmaster agent that a 3rd show may be added. Maybe it isn't true but you never know.

I e-mailed that site to ask if they had actually heard about a 9/11 concert. They responded and told me there is no 9/11 show... This is exactly what they told me:

The Sep. 11 show is a mistake. System will remove it automatically soon. Thank you for pointing out the mistake.
