Shrek 2

Anyone else eagerly anticipating the release of Shrek 2, coming to theatres on Wednesday May 19th, as much as my family?

VH1 has an hour long "VH1 Goes Inside: Shrek", which sounds gross, but is quite good!!!

And HBO is airing a 30 minute preview show, "Shrek 2 HBO First Look"

We bought the soundtrack Tuesday night, and it's a fun listen with both new songs, old songs, and remakes.

I'd go when it opens, but my corporate pass is embargoed for the first three days. Just have to wait until Monday.

Nope - I dont watch animation .....

But I am sure it is a GREAT movie!! (seeing our Polly was involved!)

We cannot wait; I have spent many hours watching Shrek with grandkeet, Chris. In honor, of Shrek 2, we had to buy bubble bath in the shape of Shrek, it even beat out Spiderman.

BHC - no problem

His screen name is Polly Roger and he works for the studio which produces Shrek....he's been giving us updates as they've gone along - it's been really kewl

I am!! Yesterday I went to our local movie theater and bought advance tickets to the first showing here on Wednesday night for myself, hubby, and the keets....don't know who is more excited, the keets or me!!

I'm glad you all are so excited about Shrek 2 (except you Creeky

).

I've seen it in the theater twice now, premiere last week and "friends and family screening" this past Saturday. I may be biased but I really liked it, even better than the 1st

I always take any reviews with a grain of salt, but FWIW, the CNN reviewer says its better than the first.
