I, for one, am not one to disagree with a woman, ESPECIALLY ph4. Hi'ever, here in NC, it is indeed spelled "y'all" as in the contraction of "You ALL" (the apostrophe replaces the "ou "). I know we are not Texas, mind you, so I am not saying ph4 is wrong (I prefer to keep my jewels, as it were), just saying how it is spelled here in God's Country (that's why the sky is Carolina Blue).

Not to open another can of worms, but is there any self respecting straight man out there that is a fan of Kenny Chesney? Everytime I see a picture of him, he's coming out of a pool, or soaking wet for some reason. Reminds me of SNL's Schmidt's Gay Beer commercials. Would a bunch of guys get together for a KC concert? Or walk around with KC t-shirts? I just don't see it. The guy plays vanilla country music in muscle shirts for the ladies to swoon over.

Guys, check yourselves. If you're really into the boy-toy Chesney, something might not be right. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Having said that, SGH and other ladies out there, I hope you enjoy his tour this summer. No doubt, he'll probably have a pool onstage. :P

now I love GW, and I'll miss GW, but I had to chuckle, because at this point keeping the faith for GW this year is a *little* like sitting on the mountaintop waiting for the alien ship to come take you away..... :D :D

One more thing, it sounds like you have given up all hope for a GW show and are completely content with Fenway which is fine. However, since I'm still holding the vigil, IF he does show in Mansfield, I may have to track you down for a free cocktail. :P :P :P

let's see..... *where* do I begin..... :-?

is it really necessary to toss slurs and insults around?

you don't have to like Chesney's music, but there's no reason to insult both him and men who happen to like his music.

too bad there's not a killfile option here.....

Slurs??? Such as??? No insults intended, just an observation that KC's markets himself towards women. There's no denying that, same as Britney Spears is marketed towards guys aged 13-88. I think you're overreacting to an opinion.

That's fine. I apologize if I implied that all men who listen to KC are gay, as I'm sure that's not the case. However, I've been told that women at Chesney concerts outnumber men 5-1 and most men that go are dragged there by their wives and girlfriends.

Is my information incorrect? Just doesn't seem to me that KC has that everyman quality like Buffett or Toby Keith, Alan Jackson, hell even Tim McGraw to a degree.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

That ratio seems like more reason to go to a KC concert if you ask me....

Unless, of course, you're gay.

Funny. Maybe you're right, I guess I'm missing the boat here. Chesney at Great Woods might not be so bad after all.

   That's feckin' hysterical!!! I agree completely! I guess I don't mind the suggestion that KC is more appealing to gay men than straight men, because I don't find him the slightest bit attractive...and the music is marginal. But to each his own and if you like him and his music than stand up and be PROUD!!!

My wife and I saw KC a couple of weeks ago. I enjoy his music, he put on a great show, and it was a fun night out, but boy howdy were the teeny bopper girls and gay men KC wannabes out in full force.
Not that there's anything wrong with that because- NO line for the mens room all night!!!!!
