Don't be hatin'... any word on GW?

Sorry, but I did not see any recent thread, so I will bring up the subject again. I did score some JB tix today, but was curious if anyone has heard or seen in print anything on a GW date? It could save me a 4 1/2 hour drive with my 1 1/2 year old 'keet.
Where there's hope....there is usually not much else.

I would have to say that because they had a special sale for Tweeter Center VIP holders to the Sunday show at Fenway, last Wednesday, that GW is out for this tour.

I hate to admit it bixxx, but it looks more and more like it's true. I just got off the phone with one of our contractors that goes to see JB at GW every year. He buys 8 season tickets just for JB, and gives most of the other tickets to the other shows away to his customers. His inqueries to GW are met with blather that adds up to "next year". He passed on the Fenway tickets, saying "When you are used to sitting in the sixth row, right field sucks". He says other businesses that have GW season tix are equally unhappy, but they'll be back next year also. He doesn't think too many season tix holders passed the Fenway tix up - many are companies that will give them away to good customers.

Never say never although it's not looking good. My company has three boxes at GW though I rarely see any good tix thrown my way and my buddy has a direct contact there who has not given him any indication that Jimmy is coming this year.
Still I'm keepin' the faith!

Don't take this wrong... it's truly not meant as a slam....
now I love GW, and I'll miss GW, but I had to chuckle, because at this point keeping the faith for GW this year is a *little* like sitting on the mountaintop waiting for the alien ship to come take you away.....
on to Fenway and Jones Beach, back to GW in 2005!!
oooo, let me really open a can of worms..... Kenny Chesney is playing GW on Aug 28th..... same parking lot.... decent, countrified beachy music.... why don't we show the country people how to party???
