Last year we tailgated for the thurs. chicago show and brought 2 big water coolers full of margaritas, and jerk chicken my dad had marrinated to throw on the grill. Well we got there.. set up.. had a couple drinks while we got the grill going. Once the grill was ready my dad asked for the chicken. Did you bring the chicken? N o i thought u did! No i thought u did!! All that and no jerk chicken. The chicken was still back at the campground. And now it was too close to concert time. My dad was PO'd.. didnt last for long though (how could it). We got inside the venue and had some brats. Not very good!
But thats my story and im sticking to it. (it wasn't my damn fault) picture 4 sisters all trying to blame it on eachother. did not! did too. ahhhh... at least the concert was amazing (allways is)

This was by far the best tailgating meal I was ever a part of! This was at Great Woods in 2002 across from NYCPort's RV. These people had no idea who we were and let us eat their lobster, crab, clams, potatoes, and corn on the cob that they had been cooking all day! It was AWESOME!!!
(Sorry my friend's camera had black and white film in it for some reason)

When the Speedo Man pulls in the parking lot of whatever venue JB's playing, it is a well known fact that alot of food will fall prey to the belly of old Bobby boy.Step one: Is to slam on your favorite Speedo then step two: Hop in your Pinto and head for your favorite all you can eat Buffet.Step three: Tell the fellow at the buffet that you will take the buffet to go please. Step four: Load up your trunk with as much goods from the buffet as possible. Step five: Pull into the parking lot and let the eating frenzy commence.Step 6: Eat so much that you almost pass out. Step 7: Slip on that extra Speedo you packed that is a few sizes to big because the old one is feeling a little bit tight by now.Step 7: Enjoy the show and try to pick up as much woman as possible.
Note: The last part of Step 7 has not really worked to well for the Prince of Bluberness so far.But it is always worth a shot even if the woman call security on you.

The Speedo Man is 43 years old, 100 ibs overweight, suffers from male pattern baldness, old Bobby boy here cannot get a date if his life depended on it, and the Prince Of Bluberness still lives with his parents.

For Charlotte we started with Bojangles Fried Chicken and Coronas for lunch, then moved on to Brats, Burgers, Marinated Mushrooms (the kind you eat) Shrimp, and ears of corn grilled in the husk topped by numerous Rum Drinks.
Will be keeping the skills sharp at the infield at Lowe's Motor Speedway over the next two weeks.
Hope to get to Fenway, Pittsburgh or Baltimore (maybe?) later this year. Anyone have any extra tix?

Our crew tends to bring a bunch of cold stuff that can just be unwrapped and eaten right away....potato salad, macaroni salad, chilled shrimp, nacho salad, cold pasta salad & desserts (brownies, cake, cookies, etc.). We're usually too busy drinking & socializing to bother with all the hassle of setting up & jockeying a grill!
The menu changes slightly every year. We usually have between 6-12 people each year, so we treat it as a covered-dish/picnic kinda thing with everyone bringing something.
However, I remember some tailgate neighbors a few years ago who brought an elaborate setup where they had big camp stoves & grills and had 16 & 22 quart stock pots full of shrimp, corn on the cob and potatoes all prepared in some kind of seasoned boil. It was enough to feed an army, and being true Parrotheads, they were busy doling out samples to everyone who wandered by.
You'll never see generosity like Buffett tailgate generosity. Love you guys!

our menus
Our gang has cooked up...
Gorganzola Cheeseburgers
Terriaki Pinnapple burgers (these are to die for)
Jambalaya
Sole
Beer basted Peppers and potatoes
basic Brats
I'm thinking Stilton burgers for an upcoming show.
Biggest thing is one of the gang doesn't like seafood.
