When my friend Jack moved to NH from PA many years ago his Ford pickup had this huge bumper on it. Since it was a 2wd I asked him what it was for. He said "Between the deer and driving on the Ho Chi Minh Trail a guy's gotta have some protection!" I forget what highway he called the HCMT, but it sounded deadly. Somewhere near NJ.
