Does this include annoying people....p.s. I like your namewanderingtoes wrote:Drinking is pretty much confined to the space you are in, but Smoke is disturbing when it gets out of your space. The space we all occupy is expensive, so anything annoying should be avoided.

Annoying people can ruin a concert smoking, drinking, and sometimes just being themselves. I try to make the best of it and ignore as much as possible. At Houston last year, the guy next to me spilled a full cup of beer right in my lap, we exchanged a few words, mostly because I already didn't like him or his girlfriend. Many times over the people have been great and this does add to the enjoyment of the show.

Ok, I didn't read all 8 pages of replies (yet), but here is my 2c
Toker: You have the right to do whatever you want (smokin the happy stuff), but you have to be willing to pay the consequences (gettin thrown out, arrested, etc.) for your actions.
Non-Toker: You have the right to not be subject to illegal activity (smokin the happy stuff) and you have the right to not be subject to any kind of activity not allowed by the venue. You have the right to ask the toker to stop, and if the smoker doesn't comply, you have the right to notify security, and let above mentioned consequences happen.
I don't partake, but don't mind people around me partaking...it's the people who complain and talk talk talk, but don't do anything about it that bothers me. If my perfume made someone have an allergy attack, i wouldn't apply it AGAIN knowing that the person asked me not to...
So, in conclusion, everyone should be respectful of each other...there's plenty of room (and ganja) to go around.
Oh, and in reply to an earlier post that the legality is a B.S. Political issue, it's not really BS in the context of that part of the discussion, because if there are kids present, their parents should be teaching them to obey the law, and the parents would be totally correct in telling the kids that a toker is breaking the law...now, do mom & dad have the responsibility to turn the person in, in the eyes of the kid? That's a different discussion!

My cousin pi$$ed in the woods fine all day 2 years ago during a concert, and then during the concert, and had to go so bad , and didn't want to wait in the bathroom line, she proceeded to go behind a closed concession stand and pi$$ed all over herself... she ended up leaving the show and waiting outside for the rest of us... bummer!nycparrothead wrote:I'm usually so excited by showtime that I pi$$ myself!
