The Sopranos

Post by Ilph »

Wow. I think tonight was probably the most intense episode yet. The Christoper/Adriana storyline actually had me sitting on the edge of my seat, slack jawed. And now we have to wait two weeks to see how the Tony/Tony B./Johnny Sac arc ends up? Torture.

Tonight RULED!! I felt the season was starting to slack somewhat. I think a lot of people were down on last weeks show. If they ever needed to deliver a great episode, it was tonight. I thought they delivered BIGTIME!!

I-N-T-E-N-S-E is definitely the word.

Yeah, last week really left me wondering what in the hell was going on. Come on, a forty minute dream sequence? But tonight made up for it in spades! Just the scene of Christopher choking (name removed for spoiler), man, I was absolutely riveted! And the whole time Silvio was driving, I'm just thinking "okay, will it go this way, or will it go that way?" Great episode!!!!

I used exactly the same term -- slack jawed -- to describe the episode to someone else.

Two weeks is going to be torture.

Too funny!!!! I was gonna search for the old Sopranos thread to comment, and thought I better check here first, and voila!!!! Here it is!!!! Talk about water cooler tv, or whatever their commercials say!!!! Dang!!!

This is what I was gonna say... :o :o :o :o :o :o

I'm gonna watch it again on HBO West in about 20 minutes.

By the way, I don't think they wanted the finale Memorial Day weekend, and they figured 2 weeks would be easy compared to the waiting we're used to!!!

I would actually like to see them leave the Tony/Johnny/Phil/Tony B. storyline unfinished. That could make for a great cliffhanger until next year.

Am I the only one who dug the dream episode? It was one of the best I've ever seen. The horse scene was brilliant.
Look I'm a little slow today, I just switched to Sanka, so have a heart.

Here's my prediction, Tony tells Johnny to go f himself and tracks down Tony B. He brings him back into the family for three reasons: he's family and Tony still caries the guilt of his arrest, as a slap in the face to Johnny Sack and Phil, and like someone else said, as another soldier. Tony B. keeps getting more attention and this infuriates Christopher and sends him off the deep end especially after the Adrianna and Tony incidents from this week. Christopher becomes Tony's new problem in the family to deal with, and this carries on all season, finally culminating at the series finale where either Tony dies, Christopher dies, or they come together to finally take care of Johnny, whom New Jersey's been at war with all season. It could make for a very intense final season.

I wonder if Phil would go after Christopher if Tony won't give up his cousin?

Next year will be crazy since it's the last season. People may start dropping like flies.

this last episode and the one where meadow got engaged blew me away. finn, her boyfriend drives in early and catches vito servicing the night watchman! hilarious! tony lying to sack about tony b.'s whereabouts that night. these two were definately the best this season. can't wait till june 6th.

SILVIO MISSED WITH HIS SHOTS AND ADRIANNA DISAPPEARS IN THE WOODS , NOW SHE IS UNDER CONTRACT FOR NEXT SEASON . UNLESS THEY ARE GOING TO HAVE MORE DREAM EPISODES. I THINK TONY B GETS WACKED NEXT WEEK AND I THINK CHRISTOPHER WILL BE THE ONE TO DO IT. BUT AGAIN I LIKE PAULIE WALNUTS , HE'S THE TYPE OF GUY THAT WOULD DO IT NO PROBLEM.

I'm sort of surprised nobody has mentioned the line from "Born to Run" that was in the episode-I thought that was hilarious!
