Gatorade

Hi Guys:

Does anyone here work for Quaker Oats? Gatorade is an ESSENTIAL for our troops and the most requested item for obvious reasons. Anyway, it's also the most costliest to send because of the weight (even the powdered kind). I would like to find out if Quaker Oaks/Gatorade would donate a case or two for the "cause." :D

Thought I'd use the power of this board on the off chance someone has any "connections."

Thanks guys!!!

Have you tried to contact the company? I know (ok I'm pretty sure) it is bottled by Coca Cola becuase they donate to our golf tournament every year.

I think that's Powerade, but I'm sure nobody would be picky on which brand they received.

It's owned by PepsiCo, just so you know. A Google search under "Quaker Oats" takes you right there. They do have some sort of "philanthropic grant" program. I didn't read it in much detail though.

You may be right about Powerade although we receive it from the same peopl ewho donate Dasani so I presumed it was Coke...we may have it donated by a beverage delivery company and not Coke though....I am not involved in the beverage donation department so....

Being a military monkey myself, this Iraq/Afghanistan thing is one of the few things that I actually take seriously. :D

Kurt - when I have a spare moment - maybe I'll help your cause.
