Jimmy Wins an Academy of Country Music Award

Jimmy and Alan Jackson won the Single of the Year Award and during Alan's quick speech he thanked "Mr. Buffett'. Maybe Jimmy is finally going to get his props. They just said that Kenny Chesney, Toby Keith and Alan are going to perform with a legend in a special performance. I couldn't be Jimmy could it. Could they possibly pull it off.

I think they already said that it was going to be Willie Nelson.

They just won another for Vocal Event of the Year.

It was Willie (who was still bandaged up from his recent surgery for carpal tunnel syndrome), Toby Keith and Kenny Chesney doing "Stay All Night". Chesney must of been hanging out with Willie in his bus before the show or else he had a bad case of nerves because when it was his turn to sing he totally forget the words. Otherwise they didn't do too bad overall but Willie's distinctive guitar sound was sorely missing. Here's to hopin' he heals up fine so he can play again.
