Looks like this owner removed the (useless) multiple spoilers.sailingagain wrote:I wish I still had a picture of my first car. It was a Mercury Merkur XR4TI. What a hideous looking pile of junk.
I owned a '72 Pinto (not this one) -- it rocked like a small boat in big waves.

[quote="Coconuts"]Ok, I recognize the Element, but what's the first one? The new body style of the Aztec?
That first one is called a sicon xb, toyota makes them and they are selling like hot cakes where I live. The performance "fast and the furious" kids are buying them because they aren't that expensive and decking them out. There are 3 in my parking lot at work and they look uglier in person than they do in that picture.

I hate the PT cruiser..thought it would grow on me, but nope. Have you seen the brown ones that look like your dads old station wagon...yUCKragtopW wrote:My Mom and sisters hate the PT cruiser.
I know the old Aztec is major ugly but I drove one
and they drive very nice almost as nice as they are ugly.
My new team Leader just flew to Denver and drove home
in a new Element so to each his own,

Well I like the PT, the Cooper, Beetle, and such... but those three are the cars where you either like them or you dont and I could see why people would think both ways. finZZup!ragtopW wrote:My Mom and sisters hate the PT cruiser.

Ah, don't hate the well-built vehicles because they're tougher than your 4-wheeled beer can. The wreck was YOUR fault, the damage was done to YOUR car - but the other guys is a jerk for driving a solid vehicle???Coconuts wrote:And I agree on Hummers. I rear ended one once- I pushed the headlights on my mom's car back 12 inches and put a nasty scratch in the Hummer. And there's no good reason anyone in America needs a Hummer (the SAV, not the fun kind!)- if they wanted you driving there, they would've made a road!

The funny part is they were designed with the 20-somethings in mind, but every time I see one it's being driven by someone 40ish or older. Personally, I find the style intriguing but they don't have enough power for me. My 2 teenage daughters hate them. Great marketing, huh?MojosMama wrote:When I saw this thread, all I thought was HONDA ELEMENT....ick....ick...ick....thing looks like a dumpster on wheels. Oh please. BMW has very nice style on all their vehicles (save maybe the M Coupe from a few years ago). Granted, it may not be your cup of tea, but calling them ugly? I can only assume you're talking about the Z3/4 line:ragtopW wrote:there is a BMW ragtop that is just plain funny looknig can't find a
