It's a shame they are not putting an M-class engine in this line. I had a loaner M Roadster for a day, that thing was fun!!!!kurt wrote:I absolutely LOVE the Z4! My better half and I took one out for a spin... the sales person had the nerve to ask if we wanted to test drive the 2.5 or the 3.0!!!
What a stupid question...

I totally agree. That's one thing that's holding us back on the Z4... other sprots cars we've looked at have 230, 250 and 280 horse power!zanth wrote:It's a shame they are not putting an M-class engine in this line. The sad part is that, in it's time, it was considered to be the best handling car that didn't cost $200,000. All the magazines raved about it, but the dealers had to discount them to get them out the door. Nowadays they have become highly collectable because relatively few were made.zanth wrote:Yeah, that's an M Coupe, not my favoriteSuperTrooper wrote: Here is the ugly BMW.

I don't hate them because of the wreck (I know it was mostly my fault- someone pulled out in front of them and stopped almost immediately- I shouldn't have been following so closely). They're freakin ugly. And the gas mileage is heinous at best- you should get better mileage out of your vehicle than you would a backhoe.rednekkPH wrote:Ah, don't hate the well-built vehicles because they're tougher than your 4-wheeled beer can. The wreck was YOUR fault, the damage was done to YOUR car - but the other guys is a jerk for driving a solid vehicle???Coconuts wrote:And I agree on Hummers. I rear ended one once- I pushed the headlights on my mom's car back 12 inches and put a nasty scratch in the Hummer. And there's no good reason anyone in America needs a Hummer (the SAV, not the fun kind!)- if they wanted you driving there, they would've made a road!If you hit a telephone pole, would you b*tch that it wasn't made out of styrofoam?

The originals (and to a lesser extent the H1) were so ugly they were cool. Plus, they were incredible off-road vehicles. The H2 is just plain fugly, and is incompetent on any surface. They were designed for wannabe off-roaders and yuppies with more money than brains. As for gas milage (motorcycles being the exception to this), the less miles per gallon, the more fun the vehicle is.Coconuts wrote:I don't hate them because of the wreck (I know it was mostly my fault- someone pulled out in front of them and stopped almost immediately- I shouldn't have been following so closely). After reading all this stuff about Hummers all I can think of is the controversy when Lebron James got one when he was still in high school and claimed it was a gift from his mother. Some guy starting selling T-shirts on the internet that said LEBRON'S MOM GAVE ME A HUMMER
what I really mean . . . I wish you were here

I owned a '72 Pinto (not this one) -- it rocked like a small boat in big waves.
Mine was an ugly silver and yes...I had multiple gratuitous spoilers.
