seeking the advice of parrotheads

Now I got a question, I have the option to go to Fenway, I have a ticket if I want it, but the price is a little steep and if I choose not to take it I could go somewhere where tailgating would be more prominent(perhaps jones beach) and not pay 5 dollars a drink at a bar all day, what would the parrotheads suggest?

I suggest that you go to Fenway....this is a once (well twice) in a lifetime show for Jimmy and you know he'll be enjoying himself. These shows along with the one in Dallas this past weekend will undoubtably be the best of the year.....I wish I was able to make them.

I agree, go to Fenway if you have a chance. I've been to a number of downtown shows where tailgating was not an option - Madison Square Garden for example. The bars around the venue take on a whole new atmosphere.
True, it will be a little more expensive, but well worth it.
If you decide not to go, come on down to Camden!

At least take the ticket (provided it's face value). Worst case scenario, you sell it to another parrothead later.
And he'll be at Jones Beach again in 2005- who knows whether or not he'll ever be back at Fenway.

I agree with everyone else.. Go to Fenway, it's a once in a lifetime chance... PLUS later down the road you'll be kicking yourself in the behind for not going...

Go to both, that sounds even better. Jones Beach and a Fenway show within a week of each other how can you beat that. It's a once in a life time thing.

3 buffett shows, license to chill cd and mac macanally's cd are gonna run me wayyy over the fun budget for the summer. Especially wiht fenway being a 90 dollar ticket, a hotel room at camden, drinks for fenway are gonna run me a high number at the bars. But right now I'm looking at going to fenway thanks to the advice of the fellow ph's.

Like others have said, go to Fenway. You never know when an event like that is going to take place again. Look at all the hassle JB had to go through to get the two dates that he did. He may decide next year that the grief is not worth it.
Besides, who said going to more than one show is a bad thing. Most are envious. Enjoy your summer.

I haven't read the other replies. I don't know anything about Fenway.
You have a ticket to Buffett.
GO. No brainer.

I know you were joking, but a friend of mine makes an extra $150 a month selling plasma- and he doesn't even do it as often as he could.

Selling plasma around here is known as college student's beer money.
