How do you get an avata? Every time I try I get an X

The link has to be an on-line link to an image. Find an image you like somewhere online, right click, select properties and copy the info in the Address (URL): field. One back in your profile options, paste that into the field and submit it.

If you wish to upload an image from your hard disk, try the board's photo gallery or get a Photobuket account (www.photobucket.com), just keep in mind that bandwith is limited on photobucket.
