I've got some pictures of the wedding somewhere. It was outdoors. I won an auction for a bunch of unrelated Jimmy items one time. Included was a copy of the newspaper announcements for both of this weddings and some pictures.

I can't think of anything funnier than Don Henley and Hunter Thompson being seated at the same table for the reception. You just couldn't write that kind of comedy...
you know, in his days before they really restricted his travel away from the cocoon of Woody Crick (more for the protection of civilians than Mr. Thompson), he was crossing paths with a lot of interesting people. If you read some of his books, it is a virtual "who's who" of the 60s and 70s coming into and out of his life.

Remember the night in Montana when
we said there'd be no room for doubt."

I've always wondered about this line in come monday, does anyone know what this is referring to ? or am i missing somethign here ? thanks
I think it refers to Buffett's time in Montana when he was up there with his sister and her husband, author Tom McGuane. If I'm not mistaken, this time period is mentioned in his book Tales from Margaritaville as part of the Tully Mars story.
That would be where I would put my money, were I willing to make a bet on it..

Of course, I have had people in Bozeman swear up and down that the line from "Great Filling Station Holdup" about "We were sittin' in the Crystal, 'bout as drunk as we could be" was written about two guys in Bozeman who wound up in Crystal Bar on Main Street after holding up a gas station on edge of town too..

But, there are at least three songs that reference Montana, and I think they were all influenced by Jimmy's time up south in the Paradise Valley.
