Rock band Creed breaks up

Creed, the rock group whose erratic concert at the Allstate Arena prompted a lawsuit last year by dissatisfied fans, announced Friday that it has broken up.

Guitarist Mark Tremonti told MTV News that the decision was made months ago when he reconvened with frontman Scott Stapp and drummer Scott Phillips after a yearlong hiatus.
