My theory is that there is a huge multi-act show in the works for the spring over at the Coliseum. That is the only logical reason I can muster up to explain why Nashville was left off the summer tour. I have nothing to support my theory, but it is a nice thought. Heck, I’ll take a winter show at the GEC.

Frozen Snickers - yum, I knew Bubba and I had something in common.
As you say, something may be wrong.....maybe Starwood isn't large enough for JB anymore. Or maybe we are taking turns being skipped.
I sure did miss seeing all my PH buds in TN.
Nashville, Nashville, Nashville!

Good thought! I have heard this rumor from someone else too. I sure would like to think/hope/pray/bride so.

So much for them working around the Pred's schedule, it seems like they would have decided something by now. Maybe Bubba is planning a multi-act New Year's show at the GEC like other artists in years past. God I hope so...what a start to a new year!!!

in January.

That is the ONLY and I mean ONLY common-sense, reasonable, and as you say: logical excuse for missing us this year. Yep winter show at the GEC is an acceptable substitute for Starwood....where in the heck would we tailgate? We could always take over that whole area of downtown!!! What a dream! What a fantasy! I'll buy that for a dollar!

I'm with you there, Citcat. And you know how resourceful us parrotheads can be...we'd find a tailgate spot...
Jimmy...Nashville....Puhleeze!!!

We'd have to light a fire under the Music City Phins PHC, and get the Smoky Mt. Parrothead PHC to help. Those SMPHC-ers know how to throw a p-a-arty and to work! Between those two clubs, with ours (Last Mango in Paris PHC) helping any way we can, I'm sure something could be put together (tailgate-wise)!!!

He's probably saying Nashville on New Years would be too much fun, he'd die of happiness and that's not good because he's got a lot of livin' to do. Huntsville on a Tuesday night would be just the perfect amount of fun, wouldn't kill him!

Don't get me wrong, I would love to see Jimmy come back to Nashville. But at the GEC????? He's has plenty of open dates for the fall that couls still be at Starwood. Having and indoor show is just not the same when it comes to his shows. But I would still go to the GEC in a heartbeat if that was the case!

Looks like the NHL lockout will free up a lot of dates at the GEC!!!! Maybe the Preds will get off the @sses & actually schedule a few more events this year.
