Try the Mango Men, they are close

http://www.themangomen.com/ I have seen them and they are a lot of fun.

There is also Jimmy and the Parrots
http://www.yeamon.com/

And I've heard Parrotsville comes to this area but I haven't seen them. Heard they are fantastic though.

Hope that helps

I saw Parrotville for the first time a few weeks ago and thought they were very good. I think the website is www.parrotvillelive.com . They are based out of NJ but travel to PA. I saw them in King of Prussia, PA

Robert Greenidge does play weddings. I don't know how expensive he is, but he's played a couple here in Indy.

How cool would it be to get him to play with a good cover band? Heck if you book him first you might be able to get a better rate on the band!

After seeing his solo performance at Berk's (the Washington HS steel drum band was supposed to play with him but couldn't), I wouldn't even bother with the other band! It was just amazing.

I saw Parrotville a few months back. We left before the end of the first set. The band was ok instrumentally, but the lead vocals were like nails on a chalkboard to us. I know my opinion is in the minority here, but I wouldn't go to see them again.

How much "Buffett" do you need?

Captain Quint (http://www.captainquint.com) knows a TON of Buffett, but are more of a TropRock band... (six members: lead guitar, bass guitar, drums, keyboards, harmonica, steel drums). They're out of Baltimore.

If you're interested in checking them out - AND - are going to Nissan...

They're opening for him on July 3rd...
