I just have one question about this series. How the hell could the entire country be so wrong about the Pistons chances at beating the big, bad LA Lakers?? Seriously?? I don't care what the score board said at the end of game 2, the Pistons really won that game too... So if ya think about it Detroit came within a lucky ass 3 point buzzer beater of completing a 5 game sweep of the bad ass (yeah, right ) team from the west!! :-?

Hopefully JK was wrong. I work third shift just north of detroit. I have the news on, so far so good, no chaos has erupted in detroit. But then again detroit has a reputation for it.

Damn! I guess I know what it feels like to be a Yankee fan now. Lakers I believe now have officially passed up the Yankees as being the mosted hated sports team. Detroit might know that feeling too with the Wings. I gotta be a Laker fan though it's like a law if you live in Southern Cal. We'll be back next year with a whole NEW team hopefully with some younger talent.

Congrats to Detroit on the title and playing your a$$ off.

Detroit is the first team since the 78-79 Sonics to win a championship without a concensus hall of famer on its roster. Just shows that great TEAMS will beat great PLAYERS. It also shows that, as in most team sports, the team willing to work harder on defense will win most of the time. The Pistons let go of their egos to play Larry Brown's system and now they reap the rewards.

And he might add an Olympic Gold Medal to that this summer. He already won one as a player.
