Thanks to everyone for your advice. I haven't had it installed yet but I'm going with XM.

Dish Network had just added the Sirius network over the last few weeks along with what they already have. I think DirectTV has it as well. Its nice that I can listen to something in the car and then pick it up on dish when I get home.
The Tropical - Caribbean Rhythms & Reggae stations are excellent. You can sample what Sirius has to offer by going to their web site.

Jahfin,
Have you decided on your hardware yet? I have the Roady & I love it. I take it into work each day so I can listen to Air America (167 on XM). I think you made a good choice with XM. We have had XM in my wife's car for about a year & a half, and I have had my Roady for about 6 months. PM me is you have any questions or if you would like any suggestions.

Pardon me if I don't know exactly what you mean by "hardware" but I went with a Pioneer tuner with a cassette deck (even though I seldom listen to them, I'm not quite ready to give up the ghost yet) and 6 CD changer by Premier (a Pioneer product) and a set of front and rear Pioneer speakers.

Have you bought your XM equipment? If your tuner is XM ready then you can buy a XM receiver that can be mounted in the trunk. I would definitely recommend the Roady. The face is just a little bit larger than a credit card & is less than an inch thick. You can use an adapter to play it through your tape deck. You also can get a free home kit right now.
BTW I just gave up on cassettes. I sold most of them a few weeks ago at our yard sale.

Yes, I have purchased my XM equipment, it just hasn't been installed yet and I'm honestly not sure if it's a Roady or not but my tuner
is XM ready.
On cassettes, I rarely listen to them anymore but I have a lot of vintage stuff on there I'd never want to get rid of. I also never got rid of my vinyl, nor will I. I know a lot of people that have and they regret it now.

Sirius= ALL NFL, ALL NBA and ALL NHL Games
XM= NASCAR RACES
I know which one I would pick just based on this..
