Our Parakeet!

My hubby and I had our first baby (boy) on 6/3/04. Another parakeet joins the world, and he was born to the sounds of Jimmy Buffett playing in the background!! Finnegan Aiden Burns is such a cutie, and we are so happy that he finally arrived. He had to have surgery right after birth, but is doing amazing well now. He's a little trooper!

We can't wait to take him to some parrothead club functions and do "Finn to the left, and Finn to the right..." :D We're happy to be passing Jimmy's music onto the latest generation!

Congratulations! I was told they are not an official Parakeet until they have a flower print shirt or something from Margaritaville. Have you bought any of that stuff yet? :D

Congratulations! My youngest was to be named Finn if she had been a boy. Instead we named her Delaney.

Until he is sleeping through the night, you'll be hearing "Finn's up" a lot in the next few months :lol:

Congrats on the newest addition to the phlock! Me and Mrs. PT just had a 'keet ourselves on 6/4/04. What a cutie little Finn is. Glad to hear he is doing well. :D We had a little scare ourselves, but it all worked out great as well. His stats were almost exactly the same as our little one. (length was off by half inch)

Congratulations!

Colton was in intensive care with lung problems for 2 weeks, and we almost gave up on him. He's 2 now and stronger than any kid I've ever seen. I can tell you've got the right attitude to make WONDERFUL parents for Finnegan!
