After stalling at #16 last week, "Hey Good Lookin'" continues its chart climb this week, moving to #11 on the All About Country Hot 40.

"Hey Good Lookin'" moves to #15, up from #16, on this week's Radio & Records country survey. It is third in increased plays (+388).

HGL Video?

Post by nboulton »

Ant word on what's happening with the video for this song? It seems several weeks have passed since we got word that the HGL video was made. I'm hoping that it includes a lot of the Dallas show, where Jimmy, Goerge Strait and Alan Jackson sang HGL twice.

We are the people our parents warned us about.

I Happy for Jimmy BUT...

Post by Margaritas_And_Senoritas »

 I am Happy for Jimmy & the recent success of his 'singles', BUT.. It really ticks me off that his tickets are harder to come bythan ever before!.. These recent "5 O'Clock Somewhere" Bandwagon Country Fans & Radio Stations scooped up a nice sized portion to the VERY LIMITED tickets for his Camden, NJ Show on 6/29/04. Jimmy's show in Camden always sells out in about 15-20 minutes, this year it sold out in 4 minutes. After some research, I found out that Several Country Music Stations received a large portion of tickets, BEFORE they even went on sale. I call Bull**it. Don't get me wrong, I am a HUGE Parrothead, it just kills me that as a LONG TIME fan, I can't get tickets because of the success of one song on country radio. Now with License to Chill coming out, Next year there will be even less tickets available to the general public. It's a crying shame. :pirate:

Yeah and then the only people who win the tickets are the idiots who spell Buffett with ONE T and have heard Margaritaville once. GRRR!

New Buffett fans are a good thing!

Post by nboulton »

I think it is GREAT that Jimmy is pulling in new fans! I know a lot of people who spelled his name with one "t" and only knew Margaritaville that are now loyal Buffett listeners. I hope the release of LTC continues to bring more people into the PH clubs. Go Jimmy Go!

It's all about change I suppose..

It's all about change I suppose,

As for those people who spell Jimmy's name with ONE "T" instead of two.. THERE IS NO EXCUSE..... enough said

Another thing that upsets me is the (8) ticket per person limit.. this makes it VERY hard for a real fan to get tickets, and REALLY EASY for ticket agencies & scalpers to scoop up all the tickets

JIMMY.. IF YOU ARE OUT THERE, PLEASE CHANGE THIS TICKET LIMIT TO NO MORE THAN 4 TICKETS PER PERSON.. Give a fan a fair chance, PLEASE!!!

Enough of the "real fan" bull$hit already! Me and a fellow BNer both scored 8 tix easily, to take care of our group of 16. Learn to work within the system, it yeilds much better results than just b!tching about it.
