Just wondered if anyone else heard stuff like this back in the day

Not so long ago I heard Mailboat was going to release a live recording from Hawaii.

And then there was a maddening rumor about Jimmy publishing a new book. That one was wild. Hell, even Amazon.com fell for that rumor.

I heard about the Jamaica thing on the radio, the DJ was very p*** he didn't just die (it was a harder alternative station). I was shocked and outraged at that. Wasn't Bono with him at the time?

Yes, he was. Chris Blackwell from Island Records (the label U2 is on) was also there if my memory serves me right.

Maybe on Labor Day weekend because he ALWAYS PLAYS LABOR DAY WEEKEND AT GREAT WOODS, even though he already has Labor Day weekend dates and Great Woods parking lot is being used for the golf tournament.
