A few nights ago I was sitting at a bar in lower Murrels Inlet...just down the road from home. To get to the point, I over heard some fellow Buffett fans talking about Jimmy and his relevance to the Grand Strand. Of course I joined in the conversation 'cause I couldn't resist talking about my idol. Well, they told me that they heard from a very reliable source (wouldn't let the name out to me....spies??) that Jimmy will be playing the House Of Blues in North Myrtle Beach the night after his Margaritaville, Myrtle Beach gig, which is all supposed to take place sometime in late August. Looks like I best keep my eyes and ears open!!

A conceirge that i talked to at HOB could neither "confirm or deny" that it would be taking place. She sounded like she new more than she was letting on, but told me to keep checking out the website. i hope i'm not setting myself up for failure...haha

You might want to cancel the sound-truck reservation, let the driver know he doesn't have to drive all over the area calling, "Mr. Buffett, come out and play!!" over the PA system....
