rumored concert at Camden Yards

There was rumor of a concert Sept 18 at Camden Yards, anyone hear anything about that or has it been denied?

Still just a rumor as far as I know. There's another recent thread about it around here, but I couldn't lay my hands on it quickly. It has been posted on another website's ticket exchange (can't remember which, but it's not here, Margaritaville, Key Lime Cafe, or ************) but nothing has actually been announced.

Here's the last thread on it. I've also heard that he might do a California show on the 18th and that plans are much further along for that than Baltimore. Good for the left coasters I guess, but sad for us.

Wow, that's news to me. (Or at least a new rumour.)

Is that logistically feasible? Going from Fenway on Sept. 12 to the West Coast on the 18th?

I suppose if he make the trip out there he'll hit more than one venue.
I sure hope he comes to Baltimore instead.

I went looking for the email I got, but it's gone. Stupid aol deletes old mail every few days. It was a forwarded forward that had come from our PH club leaders mailing list. Gist of it was don't count on Baltimore show even though the Corona people have announced it. Jimmy's people and Camden Yards were still a long way from an agreement. Plus there were preliminary plans for a CA show, San Diego if I' remember correctly, that was being pushed harder than the MD deal.
Anyone who's in a PH club in the MD-VA area should be able to ask their club leaders about the email. Maybe someone else saved it and can do better than post from memory.

You can fix that by setting your preferences to not delete for a long period of time.

Got a new email from PH club leaders this morning.

Gambrinus (Corona) has sent out an official announcement - no show at Camden Yards on 9/18 and no explanation given.

Dang! I had just about convinced travel agent hubby to take me to Baltimore for the show with a stop in DC to see the new WW2 memorial. Oh well. . .back to the ole drawing board. Gotta come up with a plausible excuse for another show this year. One just ain't enough. Any new rumors about a Vegas show?

Be glad you got the one show. That's one more than some us will be seeing this year.

Sorry, never saw a show until 1997 and didn't get to see the encores thanks to the friends I was with then. I guess I'm getting greedy now that I'm married to my travel agent.
