Going to the today show in NYC... first time poster, advice?

Post by kevin993 »

Hello all,

First time poster here but I've lurked for 6 months or so.. My friend and I are huge Jimmy fans (I don’t think we qualify as parrotheads yet, never been to one of his concerts before) so naturally when we saw he was playing at the today show we jumped at the chance to go.

We're taking the bus in from CT and plan on getting there around 4-5 pm Thursday, we'll probably walk around and do a few things first then get in line at Rockefeller center. We were originally going to get a hotel then wake up early and get in line, but from what I've read here you need to get in line damn early the day before in order to get anywhere near the man. So we decided to just say screw it and camp out in line.. :D

Basically we're looking for some advice from people who have been there before and know what to expect. What to do/not to do. (or just comments if you have any) It will be our first time seeing Jimmy play live so naturally we're pretty excited. 8)

First time poster here, I know I don't know you guys all that well but you see like nice folks, perhaps we'll meet some of you there?

Thanks for any advice, can't wait until tomorrow. 8)
