PHIN POWER for a U.S. Marine

I know we come here to escape the real world, but there's a U.S. Marine missing in Iraq, and according to a Arabic web site, he has been taken hostage. His captors have threatened to behead him. The web site posted pictures of the Marine and of his U.S. Armed Forced ID card.....

He sure could use our prayers and phin power.

This is just awful. They also have a man described as a Pakistani driver for an American contractor. They are threatening to behead this man as well despite his pleas for release due to the fact that he is Muslim. These animals don't care.

If nothing else, please remember that these are horrible, animals acting out of their own hatred. These people do not act on behalf of the Muslim religion. Here in NJ, there have been a recent return to random threats of violence against people of the Muslim faith. Islam is a peaceful religion. These idiots, despite their claims, do not represent the beliefs of the religion. I have many friends of the Muslim faith that are unfairly afraid. It's really ashame.

Ladyparrothead and I are certainly keeping this latest
kidnapped hostage in our prayers along with everyone
else whose lives are on the line for freedom over there.
It is SO important to remember that these animals do not
represent any religion of any kind. In our history there
have been crazies who have done unspeakable thing in
name of all religions. They are not practicing their faith
They are using it as an excuse to carry out acts of pure
evil. It's important to remember not to hold it against
those who are truly practicing their faith, whatever faith
that may be. My son for instance refuses to accept that
any God exists because he heard on the news that some
wacko said God told them to kill their kids. It's sad when
people think like that. I've discovered that those truly
practicing ANY faith are usually caring and loving people.
So.........May God bless our Marine. He's is about to die
a hero so may God also comfort him take his Home
when his final hour comes. May God bless and comfort
his family. May God bless all our troops in Iraaq. May
God bless our nation and give our leaders wisdom. And
May God bless PARROTHEADS everywhere!!!!!!!!

The statement that I heard from his family was very noble. Phin power, prayers, and hope from MA to these hostages.

My thoughts and prayers and all of my phin power go out to the family and to him. The local news has been all over this story and yet they have been remarkable good about not harassing the family.
