I just drove by Margaritaville, the Myrtle Beach branch a couple nights ago and what I saw was a blessing to my eyes. Margaritaville, Myrtle Beach is now pretty much built!! All that needs completed is the lighthouse to the side of the building and a few minor landscaping issues. Looks like it is open for business as planned on the 8th of July. Ladies and gentlemen..this could be the biggest restaurant/nightclub/bar in Myrtle Beach and the surrounding areas.

I do have some pictures of the building, but I don't know how to post them on here. Could someone please tell me how to post these remarkable photos??

Here's an easy way to post them quickly.

Go to shutterfly.com and create a new account. Upload the pictures from your computer into a photo album there. For each photo you want to post, right click on the picture and select Properties. Copy the URL of the picture. Start a message here, then click the Img button in the Message Body section. Paste in the URL for the photo. Click the Img* Button in the Message Body section.

Got our reservations for Myrtle Beach in Oct, can't wait to see another Margaritaville.

Wow - those pictures are awesome! They spent a lot of time on the details. We'll be in Charleston the last week of July, looks like we'll be taking a short trip up from there!

Now if I can just convince the M'ville people that the Jacksonville Landing has a prime spot for the next one...

Jacksonville Landing qould be a perfect spot for a Margaritaville. And if they had thought to put one there sooner they would have made a killing next year when the Super Bowl hits J'ville.

They are not quite finished inside, but The Blonde Tornado from the Mouseville M'ville heads out to train staff in about 3 days and is packing her hammer and tool belt to help out between sessions.

Why do I have a feeling a trip to SC to get both M'villes there under the belt might be necessary sometime this winter?

Actually, the Ruby Tuesdays that has been there 10 years just announced
that they are not renewing their lease... and the space above that is empty...
C'mon people! Get a move on! If Jacksonville can completely remake itself
for a silly football game, surely you can build a M'ville in 6 months!

I guess Jimmy wont be there for the grand opening like he was with other M'villes. Thats a shame, I dont live far away at all. Unless he plans on flying in Friday night between shows, but that seems like a heck of a travel. Anybody heard anything on an appearance from Bubba??

OK...my personal challenge was to get off my rear end and walk 500 miles and as soon as it is done, I get to go to Margaritaville Myrtle Beach.

I started on this goal Memorial Day and hope to have the miles complete by October! I'm up to 94 now. These photos sure are motivating me...if it would just stop raining in S. Texas. I may just have to buy a treadmill yet.

How ironic!! I just got a recorded call from Play Dupont about the golf tournament in Myrtle Beach in August. This just may be a sign!

ATTENION ALL: Jimmy Buffett will play at the Margaritaville, but not right when it opens to the generel public...due to his tour schedule right now. There has been news in that he will play there in Mid August or sometime in September...THAT is when the OFFICIAL grand opening will be.
