Took my two boys to their first show in Columbia this year. They were hooked before, but they really are now. My 13 year old is a pretty good horn player. For a few minutes it looked like we were going to get a private meeting with Amy Lee and the brass gang. Jimmy had a last minute set change that killed it. The #1 Keet was disappointed, but not devistated.
I gave him a shot of tequila to get past it -
just kidding (Don't want the DSS folks to come take me away)

It's true! there was an earthquake about 70 miles south of Chicago that could be felt from St Louis to Milwaukee. Not what we're used to!

Got back in time for that solo...Maybe they should give Roger a 20 minute drum solo on Scarlet Begonias to get that authentic "Dead" feel to the show...

ahhhhh-I went to college in Grinnell, a long time ago. enjoyed my time in Iowa-it was nice to get away from the big bad city for a while
