Check out this web-site I just found. It's the official web site for Rupert B. from Survivor. Check out the message board...it looks very familiar. I was hoping my Buffettnews password and log in name would work, but I was denied.

Don't get too excited, there. I don't know any of the technical jargon, but the platform (at least that's what I'll call it) used for BN is similar to the one used for a bunch of discussion boards. It's also used at BuffetWorld if I remember correctly.
But I can see why you'd react that way!

phjrsaunt,
I`m just joking around, I loved Rupert on Survivor. I thought it would have been cool if my Buffettnews password worked. Maybe Rupert is a fan of Buffettnews.com and decided to follow the lead of the great people who created this page. We should all send Rupert a message inviting him to become a Parrothead.

Yea most web hosting packages include the phpBB discussion board (like BN's, Rupertb's and ************'s). Its the best discussion board that I have seen

Yeah, the phpBB platform is fairly popular. Also, I'm sure that this is a common theme from the phpBB software. Oh well... all the forums look familar after awhile

This blue theme is the default theme for PHPbb.
PHJim has tricked out his version with a lot of additional features but anyone who installs the default phpBB is gonna have something that looks like this...
At KLC we got the Green mod just because...

Yeah, PHJim has 24" chrome Spreewells, two 12" subs, ground effects, and of course dual NOS for increased speed.

Then you're just not geeky enough...
I have occassionally stumbled into a few hardcore techie boards (looking for info, not because I fit in)... there are folks who list their computer specs in their signatures - what processor, ram, video cards etc... now THAT'S hardcore geeky.

Come now LandShark. You would not have spinners on a vehicle that also has a bodykit, and Nitrous. Now maybe possibly a '97 Integra GS-R with an H22a conversion. Turbonetics T3/T4 hybrid turbo, Greddy turbo header, and front mount intercooler. Tial wastegate, Jackson Racing adjustable FPR with an HKS super sequential BOV and Greddy Evo2 full stainless exhaust. NOS Wet direct port nitrous with 150 shot nozzles. Tein Type RA suspension, sway bars and subframe brace. 17" black Axis Touring cup wheels, wrapped in Nitto 555 extreme ZR's.
Yes I am a Sport Compact nut, and this is the configuration of car I wan t to build. Im also sure noooone had trouble understanding any of that either, right?
Hey watch it Lee, I am Geeky as well, I just bought a $3000 laptop, build my own PC's and have setup a cobalt server with twin xeons and networked my father's entire office. Jack of all trades here!
