I have heard the group "Little Feat" on Radio Margaritaville. Can anyone tell me anything about the group, and which album I should purchase. I always look forward to hearing artists that I have not yet discovered. Thanks,

CJ

I prefer their Lowell George-era stuff. What they've done since reforming isn't bad by any stretch of the imagination but I also think it's far from their best work. For the Feat at the height of their considerable powers I strongly recommend the live album Waitin' For Columbus which has recently received the remastered with bonus tracks treatment. As far as their Lowell George-era studio work is concerned, it's hard to go wrong with any of them but I suggest starting with Feats Don't Fail Me Now. If the bug bites you they have a couple of compilations that are also well worth checking out: Hoy Hoy and the box set Hotcakes and Outtakes. Hoy Hoy is a bit uneven in spots but even the Feat's low points are better than some bands' high ones. Hotcakes and Outtakes offers a wonderful overview of a very remarkable career with selections from the post-Lowell era of the band and some pre-Feat Lowell solo material that's nothing short of amazing.

Not to be a jerk or anything, but if you're looking for Little Feet instead of Little Feat, you probably won't find it.....

Coconuts,

I didn't realize that I spelled it wrong until you brought it to my attention. I figured since the mistake was noticed, I would go in and use the delete option and replace it using the edit option with the correct spelling. I just cannot say enough about Buffettnews and all the cool editing options they offer us..... :pirate:

I`m glad it wouldn't let you delete it, it's more fun toying with one another.

Buy Waiting for Columbus first and you'll be hooked on Little Feat. I love those versions of Dixie Chicken and Willin'.
