Until its potty trained and no longer chews everything in the house, "Damn Dog" will probably be just fine.

naming is a very serious deal. . .do you know if you are getting a male or a female? I had a wonderful shih tzu female named Frankie. I knew a great cat named little miss Magic. My car's name is Desdamona. None of my 11 1/8 four legged family member's have a Buffett inspired name. I wait to see them and name according to what fits them individually. They are Rocky, Nadine, Poet, BJ, Bat, KC, Grace, Wilber, Ned, Octavia, Boudin, and Wabbit.

My friend has a baby she occasionally calls "Leaky Tiki" -- would also work for an unhousetrained dog!
Other possibilities, depending on gender -
Fruitcake
Carolina
Jolly Mon
Mango
Tin Cup
Coconut

I had a dog named Boner once, but it proved quite problematic....
Girls squeeled when I said I was gonna take out my Boner
Girls slapped me when I asked them if they wanted to pet my Boner
Girls didn't understand when I said I had to walk my Boner
and they especially didn't understand when I said my Boner needed to be fed.

I have 2 Golden Retriever, I named one Mango and the other is Ripple no not for the cheap wine but after a Grateful Dead tune. My last dog name was BARK. A great name to yell when you are near a group of people

I have a 2 month old golden retriever and lab mix...her name is gypsy.
When we were building her dog house my 8 year old son said "let's just build her a big ole palace then she can be like that Jimmy Buffett song you like daddy." And now she has a BIG dog house with "gypsy's palace" painted on it.
