I can't comment on that as I haven't heard the record yet but I'd much rather folks like Lyle Lovett, Guy Clark, Jerry Jeff Walker, Todd Snider, Emmylou Harris, John Prine and John Hiatt be involved with the new album than the ones that are. The only person on the new record that I'm a fan of is Nanci Griffith and unfortunately her past few records have been spotty at best.
