Amazon Don't Pull My Chain

I'm a long time fan but I hate pre-ordering Jimmy's CDs. Again I know why. The link from BN to Amazon a few days ago was for $13.49. Hey, not a bargain but reasonable and I'm lookin to help BN. Today I see it's down to 12.98 but I can't get that price at Amazon even thopugh my CD is not even in the cart. This is BS. I canceled the order including Blue Blood.Maybe I'm being tight with my bucks but I'm sorry- don't play me.

Sorry you are having trouble - but it is a bargain!
Here they will be 29.99 minimum.
Lucky - I get sent a copy from a friend - a good thing - cause I dont know I am gonna like it

Last year, my friend pre-ordered something. It shipped the day after everything went on sale, so his "pre-order" ended up taking longer and costing more (with shipping) than the CDs that everyone else just went to Best Buy to get.

I think you have every reason to gripe. If it helps at all, I've pre-ordered the last two Jimmy cd's from Amazon, and ended up getting them on the day they were released, instead of the day after (I chose next day shipping).

I'll probably just drive over to the local Best Buy and pick it up for $9.99 on Tuesday.

i know this doesn't have anything to do with what you said
but License to Chill is ranked number one now on the Amazon top selling list.. i thought that was pretty cool.

I have to say that I have no gripe against Pre-ordering Jimmy CD's at all. Meet me in Margaritaville has still not yet been released in Canada (other than by special order) So I'd still be waiting for that one. I'm just glad I can pre-order and get it around the same time it's released to you guys.

In my weekly specials e-mail I get from the M'ville stores, you can pre-order from the KW store, they'll mail it priority on the release date and they warn that priority will take 3-4 days. You'd think they be the ones who can get it into your hands first.

Unless you live out in the boonies I guess I don't understand the whole pre-order thing from Amazon (or whoever) anyway. I'm not exactly in a Metropolitan region but I know I can go out and find it on the day of release with no problem whatsoever and most likely at a very reasonable sales price.

I agree with Jahfin, most of the time you can get a cd at a store for a cheaper price and only maybe a day later. If you ask me, it isn't worth the hassle...just go to a store and buy it

I would just wait and buy it at BESTBUY, Target, or Walmart. I would bet it would be available for $12.88 or less.
