Bad Day at Work!

Post by MelliJellyBean »

Gee, nothing better than coming into work from a nice relaxing long weekend and the first thing someone does is YELL at you for something that was out of your control!

GRRR..I love this job, but one particular co-worker is making it unpleasant!

Sure this ins't the first time, nor will it be the last.

I feel your pain. My boss just called me to tell me he was taking half my commission on a big order I booked last week. That's $6000 out of my pocket! :x

ya but before this lady came in here, everything was so good. She's running our non-profit likes its an insurance business. She hates people and kids ..she really shouldn't be in the recreation business! grrr

i dislike her with a passion.

I recently got written up for the first time ever. That's over 21 years working. I was written up for something that could be considered nothing other than a fluke.

I run a restaurant, and on Thursday nights, we have AYCE BBQ Chicken. We ran out, had more in the rotissiere, but it wasn't ready to serve. The owner found out, wrote me up. He didn't bother to find out that we were out for only 1/2 hour, and he didn't bother to find out about the table of 15 big guys that came in and all ordered the special. We ran out because of them!!!!!!

Melli, you are cute when you are angry :D

I feel your pain, see 1,532 previous "office nazi" remarks I have posted. There is one in every office, who just needs a good b*tch slapping

If you didn't read my post in another thread. I feel your pain too. Our office is moving 20+ miles north of it's current location which puts it 50+ from my house and makes my average drive time 1.5 hours each way per day.

So, I am looking for another job. The 3rd one in 3 years (two others because of layoffs). OH JOY!

Oh and if that isn't enough. They said they will be in the new office by mid-Nov.

and if that doesn't make it on the bad list our corporate lawyer sits in his office accross from my cube listening to everything I say or do. I can't stand that $*$&%& son of a #*#*##* mother#*#*#* A$$hole :D

GRRRRRR

I guess my beef about the whole thing is..it's not the job I signed up for. This lady for some reason likes to control everything I do. I have to fill out a form now to scehedule something, i have to fill out a form to get an activity or event approved now. It's ridiculous! The recreation non-profit business, not a greedy insurance business or something.

Anway, my day got much better. I think my other co-workers finally realized that this girl has issues. Today she ordered a door for her office. hmmmm.... she's only an office manager, not the freakin' director!!!

None of my business really, but how can he get away with that? Don't you both have set commission schedules based on your performance?

I have had that happen (before I worked in a union job) boss says he was "instramental in getting the account to close" and bam, he claims half the sale. Its a little trick sales-whore managers have used for years.

Hey Melli, how ya doing today, better I hope :D

Well, the commission is based on sales. He decided that since a distributor in his territory is selling a product I designed in, he should get half the commission.
