Spider-Man 2

Post by Ilph »

I didn't see any other threads for this. Has anyone else seen this? I loved the movie. Could have been a few minutes shorter, but still a great movie, very true to the comic books. Anyone else have an opinion on this?

I loved it. I thought this, Spider-Man I, and X2 were the best comic movies ever. Blade gets a good honorable mention as does the original Superman.

I haven't seen it, but my friend said it was great & he's pretty picky. I'll probably see it next week when I have my 10 year old granddaughter. Or is it appropriate for her??

I would say it's appropriate for a ten year old. I saw a lot of kids that I work with who are between 7 and 11 there. I didn't think anything was too objectionable in it. Some kids might get tired of the romantic storyline, but the fight and web swinging scenes more than make up for it.

Spiderman 2 is a great movie. Yes, I like how they stay true to the movie. Unlike Smallville. But hey, Smallville is still great.

Spiderman 2 was a great movie and one of the only sequels that lived up to the first. I'm not saying it was better than the first, because the first was ground breaking in my mind. I think it would be suitable for a 10 year old. They seemed to keep it subdued enough for young people to enjoy as well.

I thought it was awesome. I saw it with my daughter opening day and then again with my wife last weekend. I love the way they use amny different characters from the comic. It leaves lots of options open for the next movie. I think it's the best comic book movie I've seen with the possible exception of the Crow.

Now don't get me wrong here... I definitely liked the movie, but tell me something will ya... How frigin' depressing can one person's life be???

First off the kid has no job and he lives in a dirty, roach infested crack house... He spends the majority of his days pining over this smokin' hot chick (that he can't have) who in turn probably thinks he's gay because he won't make a move on her. Next, he has to sit idly by and watch as his aunt slowly goes insane because she can't differentiate between Uncle Ben the "man" and Uncle Ben the "ghost" (Which by the why is all his fault!!!). Oh, speaking of his fault... As if his aunt going cuckoo wasn't bad enough, he has to live with the fact that because of him she's also dirt poor and losing her home.

Forget not wanting to be Spiderman... I'm just surprised he didn't attempt to swallow a bullet.

better than the first.

- a bruce campbell cameo!

- Once again an appearance by Sam Raimi's Mom's car. ( He tries to put it in every movie he makes)

Outstanding job with Doc Ock. Plus, several hints as to who the next villian might be ( Harry Osborne, John Jamison, Dr. Conners?

As a kid I always loved Spiderman. The first one to me was originally the most disappointing movie of the summer. It took me watching it three times before I was like, ok that was a pretty good movie.

I am looking forward to seeing the sequel to hopefully make the overall two of them very good.
