Three men were sitting together bragging about how they had
set their new wives straight on their duties.
The first man had married a girl from Pennsylvania and
bragged he had told her she had to do all the housecleaning
and dishes. The first day, nothing was done. The second
day, a little, but on the third day he came home to a clean
house and all the dishes were done.
The second man had married a girl from Virginia and bragged
he had given her orders to do all the cleaning, dishes and
cooking. The first day, nothing was done. The second day, a
little, but on the third day he came home to a clean house
and all the dishes were done and supper was on the table.
The third man had married a Colorado girl. He bragged he
had ordered her to clean his house, do all the dishes, wash
all the laundry and do all the cooking. The first day he
didn't see anything. The second day he saw nothing, but the
third day some of the swelling had gone down and he could
see a little out of his left eye.
