coopster1, were you on the aisle. My hubby had a great time singing karoake and he knows all the words.

And yes, some of the "frat" boys were causing problems for all of us in the yellow lot.

Cool! Don't feel bad by the way - it took me a week to find my boat after the Dallas concert!
It was a pleasure and a hell of an evening
Truly was our night to win
But the authorities insist on my leaving
Take care my American friend

We had few problems in the blue lot. (Thanks to an ex-Green Beret without tickets who stood guard)

Glad I took my FINZ2L lisence plate off during the show.

Sorry there were problems.

BTW, I LOVED the refrigerator!!

Coopster you had a nice set up there! My virgin friend and I were singing a few tunes with you. Well she was trying to anyway. She doesn't really know the words yet.

Either way we had a nice time. Sorry you had problems with @$$holes messing with your stuff.

Follow up to Sir Gumby...

Post by RockinRick »

I was partying with gumby, (or he with me, it was our group of 6)

Normally my very favorite place to see Jimmy is Alpine. But this year just wasn't the best. As Sir Gumby mentioned, someone did steal our flag. Not only the flag, but the poles it was on, and scratched the entire side of my car in the process.

Another friend of ours, G.T., had some young punk try to pick a fight with him in the lawn for no reason. Was getting ugly until this other person that was with that punk settled it down.

Wife and I did ok. We had a spot in the lawn next to some guy sleeping through the whole concert.

On walkabout, we didn't run into nearly as many crazy and friendly people as we had in the past. Lots of young people, all seemed angry at the world or something. Nowhere near as many folks offering to share food and drinks. We always do that as people come by.

It was just slow. We left Alpine with a feeling of disappointment this year.

I'm sure we'll try again. We'll see what the future holds.

Hopefully Chicago will be better.
