CMT has a preview of the entire new Buffett CD via an online listening party.

It can be found http://www.cmt.com/artists/az/jimmy_buf ... lbum.jhtml

Strange

I cannot figure out why the record company allowed the release of the entire album on the internet the day before it goes on sale. His lawyers were shooting down anyone that had a full copy of Hey Good Lookin' only a few weeks ago. Although I pre-ordered the CD from Amazon (via Buffettnews), I am rockin' out to some new MP3s.

It might be a problem, if the bloody site *worked*. It keeps trying to install Windows Media Player (which is already installed on my machine), and doesn't download or begin playing any songs.

No download, no music, no problem. (*shrug*)

I have the same problem. I just have to install it again and again to listen. It takes about two minutes but it's worth it.

I had no difficulty in hearing the whole thing. BUT I may have an answer to the question "Why is this available?" I was awash in spyware after this session, so someone may be sponsoring it. It took me an hour to get rid of the stuff and WinTasks - a utility designed to help with this sort of thing - only showed me it was there, but couldn't get rid of it. There was a lot of booting in Safe Mode so the spyware wouldn't start (and therefore be uneraseable), searching (mostly in Windows Prefetch and folders in Program Files called Internet Optimizer), deleting, and repeating that process until I could surf at normal speed and without ads popping up all the time (right through the software that usually stops them).
The album sounds good and got a very nice review at allmusic.com
