Piece of Work

I haven't "won" anything. Those are words ph4ever uttered, not me. Posting here is not a battle or contest to be won but that's apparently how she perceives which says way more about her issues than she's probably willing to admit. If she wants to keep her posts to a "bare minimum", that's her choice. Perhaps she needs to come to the realization that she can't control every aspect of her surroundings, least of all me. The sooner she realizes that and moves on the better off we'll all be. As for calling me names, that is totally uncalled for. I've done nothing to deserve any of this treatment. Everyone has differing opinions, it just so happens few of you tend to agree with mine, which doesn't bother me in the least.rednekkPH wrote:He may have won , but the rest of us lost big time. Look forward to meeting you in St Augustine
It was a pleasure and a hell of an evening
Truly was our night to win
But the authorities insist on my leaving
Take care my American friend

Wow, page 6 and the whole question of 'can't we just all get along or find another place to squabble' still hasn't been answered.
Anyhoo.....if you get a chance, catch Toby's version of "Good to Go to Mexico". I put that one on a 'down island' CD with Jimmy, Kenny and some other artists not afraid to straddle genres. Good stuff.
Piece of work = good song/good collaboration

Salt air it ain't thin,
It can stick right to your skin,
And make you feel fine
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor.

TinCup - the answer is no we can't. Some of us quit trying a long time ago.
In response to the original post, Piece of Work has surpassed Coast of Carolina and Coastal Confessions to become my favorite song on the album. I don't know how it happened, but I am in love with this song. Especially the part where Jimmy jumps in with "Mary Pleaaaaase" - that reminds me of Bob Dylan every time I hear it.
