Its up to you...but don't discount hanging with the BN crowd all weekend....the volcanos, fountains, and pirate battles will all be here at any future trip...the parrotheads will not.

I can guarantee you the BN crowd that hang with everyone else had an awesome time in January....I can't speak for the rest of them, but hanging with phellow parrotheads is one way to guarantee an awesome trip!

A few things here folks, first, let's work on that list and let's work on this thread catching up to and passing the October 23rd thread! I know a bunch of people are planning on being here for this show - let's get this party started. I will be there along with about 14 other parrot heads from WAPHC - they don't all have cute names yet, so we'll work on that.

Second - is this sirgumby guy for real or is he just trying to be sarcastic/funny? (I'm sure I'll get some "nice" response to that). And if he's for real, how is it that a true parrot head can be such a true ass hole and so proud of it? Strange if ya ask me. My humble opinion only (and I'm sure I'll get another "nice" comment for that one too)

Dave, Dave, where are you? We are worried about you!

Looking forward to partying with all you COOL parrot heads!

My best guess is "all of the above", but he's harmless.

I look forward to meeting you Honey Do! I won't get in until Saturday morning, but I figure as it gets closer to October you'll be able to tell us what phlockings to look for pre-show. I'm happy to see someone stopping in between my posts! I certainly can't carry this thing alone!

There's rumor that MGM is working on some type of preshow party, maybe by their pool. However, they do have the reputation of waiting until the last minute to announce anything.

Same is true of the Flamingo, I mean as for working on something pre-show. With Margaritaville there, they should try to get the pre-show business. I'm sure M'ville will be packed, but sinc ehte monorail thingie is now working, it would make sense for them to have some kind of pre-party!

We'll see and I'll keep you posted. Too bad tiki you're going to mis Last Man Standing!

If I ask Charleen about throwing a pool party, she's gonna want to know if the MGM is doing anything.

Frank and I will be there along with 3 other couples from Canada, can't wait to to meet everyone and have a chance to wear my BN name tag and lanyard. I just can't decide which color to wear (maybe both)

Me and my compadres are staying at Excalibur since it was the cheapest in the area of the MGM (more money for alcohol).

Just got back from vacation. What's beeen going on? I'm surprised that this 10/16 thread is only on page six!

Apparently we're saving all of the visiting for Vegas!

My group has 8 confirmed, and possibly 7 more additional! That's almost as big as the BN list!

Charleen is a good friend of mine. She's the manager of the pools and surrounding areas at the Flamingo. I'm not sure how the idea of a preparty would go over. The pool area is usually only accessible if you're a hotel guest. I haven't mentioned anything to her yet, but we talk at least once a week and if the MGM isn't doing anything I'll run it by her.
