They have that HUGE area that is not actually right next to the pool, where the penguins are...........there would be plenty of room there to have some type of pre-party. And they'd make tons! $$$$$$$$$$$$$

I am thinking about getting a room, Flamingo is sold out for saturday, so I am looking at Terribles. It's right down the street and fairly cheap. My parents may be in town so I don't feel like driving home and worrying about bumping into them in a drunken stooper!

Anyone of you computer savvy folks want to put the list of people going up and add where everyone is staying on it? I live here, but will probably get a room on the strip to avoid having to drive home after partying. Ilive far from that area!

Tommy Rockers is not far at all from the MGM and even closer to the Flamingo....probably a $10 cab ride from either (only reason it would be that high is wait time in traffic around the strip)

As for Saturday morning....I doubt if anyone will be at Tommy's than....the party usually goes til about midnite and than people tend to go their own direction to enjoy some of the evil choices which sin city has to offer!

Even tho BN and Margaritaville.com suggest Vegas Oct 16 tickets go on sale Saturday Aug 21, Ticketbastard doesn't list it, and the MGM operators don't have an answer.... has anyone a clue as to what time zone the 10 am Saturday ticket sale door opens, and where to buy 'em?

Whenever TM says 10:00, they're referring to 10:00 in the time zone where the venue is located. www.ticketmaster.com

thanks for the heads up- I just saw over in the Vegas Oct 23 thread a posting including the MGM's press release- which gives the rest of the info- hopefully TM will get the Vegas shows posted before Saturday!

They'll get it listed....but the MGM is notoriously late in getting all of its concerts listed. I mentioned earlier in the week that it would probably go up Wednesday at the earliest and it wouldn't surprise me if it doesn't go up til Friday....its normal procedure for this venue. (I'm not sure why...just the way they do things!)

Frank, Lola and 6 freinds will be getting into Vegas late Thursday night (or early friday depending on how you look at it) We all plan on going to the Last Man Standing party Friday and we are open to attend what ever type of pre-concert-tailgate-parrothead-party on Saturday.

My sister is turning 21, so we jsut happened to have a trip planned for Vegas at this time. There are about 10 of us coming out on Wed. night and staying through Sun. Jimmy couldn't ahve picked a better time to come to Vegas. We also decided on staying at the MGM months ago! I am planning on the LMS party, but haven't talked about it with the group. I just hope we have good luck with the tickets tomorrow!! I'm a little nervous.

One thing going in our ticket buying favor is the fact that its seems that a lot of people will be buying the 23rd show. Which hopefully means better opportunity for us 16th'ers!!
