Congrats to you both! WoooooHoooooooo! Maybe I'll get to meet ya both in SD

BEG,
Thanks for the kind sentiments!
Look for a 40' Brown and Gold Monaco Bus with "Meet Me In Margaritaville" painted on the back and FINS BUS plates.
Coronas and Margaritas will be served!!
Congrats Pirate!!
Look forward to seein' y'all again and drinking a toast to you and your blushing bride. I'll have to pass on the tequila this time

That kinda turned out the lights last time in anaheim ( but I was told I had a great time!

) The Phins bus rocks!!!

Really Brad...you did have fun I saw you!
Gavin...congrats on the happy occasion. Looking forward to seeing you, the Fins Bus and your bride in October.
Looking Forward to seeing everyone. I was going to Great Woods for my summer fix, but alas, took a Fenway detour, not going unless a parking lot is involved as the real fun start around Noon or earlier. The last show we went to (Lauderdale) was great, awesome tailgating, but alas, inside. San Diego here we come!
As for Vegas, as we get closer anyone PM me. The FINS BUS will be parked at the Hard Rock, and then MGM. Major party in early planning stages.
What does everyone think about San Diego becoming the new Irvine? It seems it may be:
- Cool Cops
- Great Venue, clean, fairly new.
- Open parking lots at Noon or earlier.
- No restrictions on boats, large motorhomes, and trailers.
- GREAT PHANS
Thoughts Anyone?

I have to agree that the setting is better in San Diego...very open lot, room to move around, friendly cops....coors ampithereter could use some help in when to open gates and how many to open....but overall a great atmosphere. The last few years in Irvine I saw a lot of younger kids coming to party in the lot and not ever have any intention of going to the show. I even heard gulp Emenem playing there. But Irvine holds a special place in JB's heart. I would love to see SD become "the" west coast venue. My thinking is if a Margaritaville Cafe were to open in San Diego in say...the Gaslamp District....then San Diego could become the new Irvine. Then a grand opening show could be help in Petco Park

Nope, I was originally going to come out mid August but now she's moving at that time so I decided to come out another time.. When I heard Buffett was playing there this fall it didn't take me all of two seconds to make the decision to come out.. And when it was approved today I was a happy camper... BUT hey we can still go out for drinks...

I'm only teasin' you... I'd like to see a SoxCubs series but we all know that won't happen...

Bumper,
Been to Irvine every year straight since 1987, and of course Irvine is the West Coast Holy Grail. Yet, you have to agree the last couple of years have been getting a little off the mark with the getting in the lot hassle, and what seems to be the large number of young punks roaming the lot, fighting, and getting busted for drugs (saw two busts last year within 50 feet of my bus).
I still love Irvine overall, San Diego just seems to be like the earlier days and it is getting to be one heck of a parking lot scene.

I am wondering if the shows in January in Anaheim and the Bay area are affecting the dates in October?

Cannot argue the problems lately to be sure. His entire schedule this year has been off the mark from traditional years so who knows. I am just lookin forward to seeing the brother at Irvine, not there then Vegas, not there we will go to Raleigh and Charlotte again next year !!!!!!

Bo Sox/CUBBIES WS would be the ultimate. I think i would actually sell living organs to go to a game. Because I know here in Chicago--thats whats gonna have to happen if you want to be inside Wrigley.
