Loved that one too, Pencil Thin.Pencil Thin wrote:Stealing the peanut butter...very nice
See how many old Buffett song titles and catch phrases you can find sprinkled throughout LTC. What a great album to recruit new parrotheads...but also to reward long-time fans with jewels like the peanut butter line.
Keep spreadin' those crumbs, Jimmy.
Salt air it ain't thin,
It can stick right to your skin,
And make you feel fine
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor.

I'm impressed!!
I was more skeptical than most because I have usually despised country. I love this disc!! "Coast of Carolina" is going to become one of my all time favs. I love "Boats to Build". "Scarlet Begonias" is already becoming a great concert song. This has to be his best (I know he didn't write them and a lot are duets) since Barometer Soup. I'm thrilled that Jimmy is getting the recogntion he desrves. Maybe now he can get some recognition in one of the music Hall of Fames.

This confirms what I figured - my favorite is Scarlet Begonias.
Here is the play count from my iPod since adding the album on Friday afternoon. HGL and LTC have higher play counts because they were added well before - HGL on 5/13 and LTC sometime in March.
